Adaptive Energy provides customized, non-destructive material evaluation solutions to meet unique aerospace testing needs. We apply the latest generation of imaging technologies - digital radiography, computed tomography, ultrasound, and advanced phase array ultrasonics - combined with robotic and mechanical components that are off-the-shelf or custom-engineered and manufactured. With integrated software applications for system control, data collection, and analysis, our solutions address some of the world’s toughest NDT challenges. We’ve helped leading companies in aviation, space, and military/defense meet mission-critical, time-sensitive testing needs.

With decades of experience in imaging technologies, engineering, machining, and fabrication, Adaptive Energy’s experts work as partners with customer R&D, operations, and QC/QA teams to design and fabricate ingenious and effective solutions that perform at the highest level while delivering low total cost of ownership. Adaptive Energy’s integrated systems offer rapid deployment, are easy to learn and maintain, and perform reliably under pressure. A select team of best-in-class component and execution partners, including FORCE Technologies, KUKA Robotics, and PMB rounds out our ability to deliver high-value solutions that are innovative, unique, effective and efficient.

Adaptive Energy’s capabilities include digital radiography using a multitude of imaging media such as amorphous silicon digital panels, LDA, CMOS, and TDI; high energy X-ray digital radiographic imaging; and computed tomography systems for advanced, three-dimensional digital X-ray imaging. We design and build robotic scanner assemblies for specialized, remote, and extreme environment testing. We’ve built and installed custom radiation enclosures such as radiation cabinets, vaults and overhead X-ray tube gantry systems. We’ve helped companies perform weld inspection using ultrasonic and radiographic tests to meet AWS, ASME and ASTM standards, and to do material evaluation for cracks, porosity, inclusions, corrosion, and dimensional characteristics, and inspect composite materials for delamination, layer separation, and honeycomb structure analysis.
