Element Materials Technology is currently seeking a General Manager (GM) – Product Qualification Testing, based in Seattle, Washington, or Portland, Oregon.
The GM is responsible and accountable for driving and delivering annual Operational Plan commitments including: revenues, profit, working capital, and operational performance (including corporate KPI requirements).
Responsibilities will also include:
Developing and executing short- and long-term business plans and strategies to include operational goals, equipment needs, and staffing for the location.
Working in conjunction with long-term corporate goals, developing and implementing strategies based on geographic business industry knowledge, technical capability and expertise, and capital expenditures needs.
Actively maintaining contact and relationships with top location customer accounts in line with Element policies, and participating as necessary to cultivate new accounts by collaborating with Division Sales and Business Development Team.
Providing positive leadership and representation of Element to the public, customers, vendors, and to all employees through membership in professional organizations, serving on Company Task Forces, conducting employee meetings and visiting work areas.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a technical discipline plus ten years’ experience in a technical services industry with previous significant managerial or leadership responsibility.Prior experience in the TIC industry strongly preferred. PE is desirable but not required.
