Responsibilities
  • To perform testing to procedures laid down in the procedures manual
  • Create and maintain and tidy and safe working environment
  • To familiarise themselves with test software equipment functions, measurement and calibration techniques
  • To design new measurements methods where procedures do not cover exact nature of testing being carried out
  • To maintain a technical logbook
  • To record results of tests on the prescribed result sheets, to plot graphical results
  • To check, prepare and authorise test reports.
  • To liaise with other sites’ Section Leaders/Senior Engineers to arrange and coordinate inter-site test equipment and EUT samples movement.
  • To deal with client enquiries regarding work schedules and costing
  • To ensure that commercial confidentiality is maintained
  • To provide leadership to all junior staff
  • To carry out any other reasonable duty as directed by the Principal Engineer or Product Managers
