Volt Aero
As part of the Aerostructure, Flight Physics and Systems Integration design office based at VoltAero’s head office in Royan (Rochefort soon), and in liaison with our external partners and suppliers, you will actively contribute to the development of our innovative aeronautical project.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out aerodynamic studies and analyses of aircraft and systems based on wind tunnel test data and CFD calculations
- Develop aerodynamic analysis tools and methods
- Assess flight qualities and aerodynamic performance
- Establish aerodynamic load cases for structural calculations
- Draw up and validate aerodynamic analysis reports and provide design recommendations
- Participate in wind tunnel and flight test campaigns to recalibrate models and analysis tools
- Validate and support the aerodynamic load justification file with certification authorities
Profile
- Training in aeronautical and/or aerodynamic engineering
- First experience or at least 5 years’ professional experience in aerodynamics
- High degree of autonomy, excellent responsiveness, good team spirit
- A critical and proactive mind
- Good command of English required
- ULM certificate/Private pilot license in airplane/helicopter appreciated
