Sonaca Aircraft has started the flight test campaign of the Sonaca 200 after its first flight, the company announced on June 20. The single engine two-seater light aircraft is designed for pilot training and leisure flights. The flight test was achieved by the second aircraft (FTA2 – Flight Test Aircraft 2) which was assembled at Sonaca’s factories in Belgium.
The flight test campaign, with a planned duration of four months, starts in Belgium and will be pursued in the south of France (near Avignon). The ground and flight trials are being conducted with the aim of obtaining the EASA certification.
