Ultraviolet fluorescent equipment supplier Spectronics has released the first two models in its Edge 13 series of flood lamps for use in overhead applications during non-destructive testing and fluorescent inspection.
Both the EDG-13SBLC and the EDG-13T are fanless, LED UV-A, and IP65-rated lamps. The EDG-13SBLC is fully ASTM E3022-2015 and Rolls-Royce 90061 compliant for overhead non-destructive testing.
The EDG-13T is a non-compliant flood lamp perfect for NDT professionals who require a rugged, high-intensity lamp to spot fluorescent indications on large parts.
Both lamps come with 8ft and 20ft AC power cord options. All models are gangable and can share the same power supply – making it easier to expand the inspection area by joining units together.
The lamps also feature an easily mountable and adjustable bracket for modifying overhead inspection configurations. Additionally, every model comes with 13 long-lasting LED UV-A lenses and, being IP65 rated, can be fully covered in dust or water and suffer no intrusion.
