The last A380 made its first flight earlier this month, marking the end of an era for Airbus.
MSN272 took off at 1300 from Toulouse, France to make the three hour trip to Hamburg, where it will be painted and outfitted before delivery to Dubai and airline Emirates next year.
251 A380s have been delivered to customers since the super jumbo first took to the skies in 2005. Airbus announced it was ceasing production of the two-deck airplane, which can carry up to 850 people, two years ago.
Although several airlines have said they are withdrawing the A380 from service since the start of the pandemic, some, including Emirates and British Airways are to continue operating it for at least the next 10 years.
